Medical Definition of Clitoral amputation

Clitoral amputation: A surgical procedure in which all or part of the clitoris and sometimes also the labia are removed. Clitoral amputation is a form of female circumcision (female genital mutilation). Also called clitorectomy or clitoridectomy.
