Viewer Question

Polycystic Ovarian Disease, what are the stats for conception?
Signed, TB

Doctor's Answer

Not all women with PCO are infertile.  Some women with PCO occasionally ovulate, and even an occasional ovulation can lead to pregnancy.  If there is difficulty with spontaneous attempts at getting pregnancy, about 80% of women with PCO respond well to oral ovulation induction therapy, a medication called clomiphene citrate.
