Diet Guidelines: 4 - 9 Years of Age

This diet is similar to an adult diet, with smaller portions and incorporates foods that are appealing to children. Excessive use of fats, salt, and sucrose should be avoided to promote good eating habits. Caffeine should be avoided in excess, and low-fat or skim milk is recommended
