Patient Comments: Salivary Gland Cancer - Diagnosis

What tests and exams did you experience that led to a diagnosis of salivary gland cancer?

Comment from: Gord, 75 or over Male (Patient) Published: August 12

I had a CT scan and lung biopsy. The cancer spread to my lung. They did two biopsies of my throat tumor, which both came back negative for cancer. The area around the tumor in my throat became abscessed from the biopsy.
