Decongestants are used to relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies and hay fever, such as watery and itching eyes, runny nose and sneezing. This drug (terfenadine) has been withdrawn from the U.S. market due to safety or effectiveness problems. HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth as directed, usually twice a day. This may be taken with food or after meals if stomach upset occurs. Do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
