Patient Comments: Progressive Supranuclear Palsy - Treatment

How was your progressive supranuclear palsy treated?

Comment from: Feeling crazy, 55-64 Male (Caregiver) Published: September 24

My husband's progressive supranuclear palsy is treated with Sinemet. I did not go well. He was sedated and could not do anything. We got him off it and he did improve back to normal, to the way he was. He tried the happy pills for 5 weeks and took him off that as he was in very bad way through the night. I'm thinking of going drug free, not too sure. I don't think drugs are helping at all.
