Patient Comments: Pinched Nerve - In Neck, TreatmentQuestion:What was the treatment for your pinched nerve?

I've had a pinched nerve in my upper back for almost 12 years. Carpal tunnel was first diagnosed and I had that surgery that did nothing. In the last year and a half I've had more symptoms. Last winter I was sent to a neurologist who did a MRI which I'll never do again. I was prescribed physical therapy...exercises for me to do along with and ice pace afterward. I have had strong symptoms in my arms and hands off and on, on right now. I basically take Advil to help relieve symptoms, but nothing has "cured" my condition. I'm depressed with this mess. And, I also have Type 1 diabetes, another cause for the issue. Patient CommentsViewers share their comments

Hi I have recently found out that I have pinched nerve. I never believed that I would be in pain like this due to an accident that I was involved in 10 years ago. I thought that it was because of the accident that I started getting these pains and now my doctor says that I have scoliosis. Now I have to take medication and I'm not a fan of tablets.
