USES: Papaya has been used for digestion problems.This product should not be used for intestinal parasite infections because it may be ineffective. Consult your doctor if you think you have such an infection.Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Check with your pharmacist for more details about the brand you use.The FDA has not reviewed this product for safety or effectiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

HOW TO USE: Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow all directions and warnings on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

SIDE EFFECTS: Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: severe stomach/abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, slow heartbeat, severe drowsiness, inability to move.When papaya is taken in large doses, it may infrequently cause serious irritation and ulcers in the esophagus. If you notice any of the following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking this product and consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: new or worsening heartburn, chest pain, difficult/painful swallowing.A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.This is not a complete list of possible side effects. PRECAUTIONS: Before taking papaya, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to latex; or if you have any other allergies.If you have the following health problem, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product: disease of the pancreas (e.g., pancreatitis).Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence, or liver disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely.Papaya must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor immediately.It is not known whether this product passes into breast milk. Because of the possible risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this product is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
