Patient Comments: Pancreatic Cysts - Diagnosis

Question:How were your pancreatic cysts diagnosed?

Comment from: Steve, 45-54 Male (Patient) Published: May 20

My pseudo cyst was found during a follow-up CT scan of an adrenal adenoma. This was 10 months after my acute pancreatitis and 8 months after an adrenal MRI that did not indicate a pseudo cyst. My doctor indicated that I would have a follow-up CT in 6 months for the pseudo cyst and adrenal adenoma. The pseudo cyst is 3 by 4 cm and was not causing any symptoms.

I just found out today that a ct scan for another issue revealed a cyst or some other abnormality in/on my pancreas. I am scheduled for a MRCP for further diagnostics. So no more googling. It's only depressing.
