STORAGE: Neomycin sulfate/polymyxin B sulfate/ hydrocortisone acetate ear drops should be stored between 15 C to 25 C (59 F to 77 F).

DOSING:

  • Adults: Apply 4 drops into affected ear every 6 to 8 hours.
  • Infants and children: Apply 3 drops into affected ear every 6 to 8 hours.

The duration of treatment may last up to 10 days.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: There are no significant drug interactions with neomycin sulfate/polymyxin B sulfate/ hydrocortisone acetate.

PREGNANCY: There are no adequate studies done with neomycin sulfate/polymyxin B sulfate/ hydrocortisone acetate to determine if it is safe and effective in pregnant women.

NURSING MOTHERS: It is not known whether neomycin sulfate/polymyxin B sulfate/ hydrocortisone acetate enters breast milk; therefore, it is best to be cautious before using it in females who are breastfeeding.
