nalmefene 100mcg/ml-inj, Revex (cont.)
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: heart disease, allergies (especially drug allergies). Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: narcotic pain medications. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.
NOTES: This medication can cause withdrawal symptoms in persons addicted to narcotic pain relievers.
MISSED DOSE: This medication is not used on a routine basis.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) as directed. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children.
