Patient Comments: Macular Degeneration - Risk Factors

If you or a relative has macular degeneration, what were the risk factors?

Comment from: Minerva, 75 or over Female (Patient) Published: April 12

My regular eye doctor sent me to a retinologist and he diagnosed the beginning of macular degeneration. I have been treated with many tests and received eye injections. At the moment, we're holding off for two months to see if there is any change. I still have 20/20 vision with eyeglasses.
