PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: bleeding problems, bone or spine problems (e.g., vertebral lesions), urinary problems (e.g., bladder obstruction), any allergies. This medication is not recommended for use in women or children and may even cause fetal harm in pregnant women. Consult your doctor for details.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use. This product can affect the results of certain lab tests (e.g., pituitary/gonadal function). Make sure laboratory personnel and your doctors know you use this product. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: This medication device may be harmful if swallowed. If such an accident should occur, contact the local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.
NOTES: Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., serum testosterone levels, PSA levels) may be performed to monitor your progress. If you have radiology tests (x-rays) or MRI performed, this device will not be affected or affect the results of these exams.
MISSED DOSE: Not applicable.
STORAGE: Before implantation, store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture.
