isoetharine-inhalation solution, Arm-A-Med, Bronkosol (cont.)SIDE EFFECTS: Tremor, nervousness, shakiness, headache, nausea, lightheadedness, difficulty sleeping, unusual taste in mouth, increased appetite, muscle cramps, flushing or dry throat may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a rash, rapid heartbeat, chest pain, dizziness, coughing, wheezing or breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, chest pain, diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, seizures, strokes, allergies (especially drug allergies). This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, chest pain drugs, diabetes drugs, antidepressants. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, dizziness, fast or irregular heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and nervousness. NOTES: If this medication appears to be losing its effectiveness, notify your doctor. A change in your therapy may be necessary.
