I was with a girl who had chlamydia and didn't tell me until one year after we broke up. So now I suffer from infertility and can't have kids. I want to be a father someday but thanks to her I will never have that chance. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I can only guess that my infertility is due to my athleticism while growing up. I was a gymnast and a cheerleader. I trained more in one week than most children/teenagers. I was a size 0 until I was 16 when I had to start taking birth control to regulate my period. The birth control added a few pounds, so now I am of average weight. My doctor and her nurse practitioners have told me the same thing for the past year: "We don't know why this happens, but your body is not producing the 'king daddy' follicle." My next appointment to check on my ovarian cysts is in May. If they cannot provide any additional information or help than they have already provided, I may go to another doctor.
