DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other NSAID (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen), warfarin ("blood thinners"), water pills (diuretics), high blood pressure drugs, antidiabetic drugs (e.g., chlorpropamide, tolazamide), sulfa drugs, phenytoin, lithium, certain cancer drugs such as methotrexate, corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone). Also mention drugs that make you drowsy such as: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), anxiety medicine, certain antihistamines (e.g., diphen- hydramine), muscle relaxants. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, dark stool, ringing in the ears, change in amount of urine, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, muscle weakness, slow or shallow breathing, confusion, severe headache or loss of consciousness.
NOTES: This medication is to be used to treat only the condition for which it was prescribed. It should not be used for minor aches and pains. Do not share this medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
