Patient Comments: Fish Odor Syndrome - Treatment

Discuss your diagnosis of and treatment for fish odor syndrome.

Comment from: welive, 45-54 Female (Patient) Published: January 13

I was diagnosed with TMAU (trimethylaminuria) or fish odor syndrome about 15 years ago. Giving it a name made it a little easier. Medicine of any kind for depression or any amines made my condition 10 times worse. I have accepted my condition and I am strong, I am not afraid.
