DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, including: ketoconazole, itraconazole. Oral forms of this medication are available in prescription and nonprescription formulations. Do not use both at the same time. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, tremors, vomiting, restlessness, weakness, fatigue, or dizziness.

NOTES: For best results, this medication is often used along with lifestyle changes such as stress-reduction programs, exercise and dietary changes. Talk to your health care professional about lifestyle changes you can benefit from. Laboratory tests may be done periodically while using this medication to monitor your progress.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Store in the refrigerator or freezer as directed. If frozen, allow to thaw as directed. An expiration date will be noted on the injection. Properly discard of any unused medication after this date.
