Please describe your experience with elbow pain.

Both my elbows are very painful only when my arms are straightened out. It is the bone on the inner side of your arm towards your stomach, the pointy one. They don't hurt when I bend my arms up or exercise or nothing; only when I touch them or bump them they are very painful.

I recently used the contraption at the gym where you rest your forearms horizontally on pads, kick stool away and do repetitions of lifting legs straight up or up with bent knees. All weight is supported by forearms and it strengthens the abdomen. Now I have pain on left elbow only, but it's been days and it has not eased. It is not excruciating but I cannot put any pressure on it, including just propping the elbow up.

My elbows are tender at the pointy joint, it doesn't hurt when moving in any direction. If I place my elbow on any surface there is a sharp excruciating pain on contact. I can put no weight on the elbow just resting it at times. There is no swelling, no movement restrictions, no trauma now or in past. It occurs on both elbows.

I am a pitcher on a baseball team and all of the sudden my elbow has begun to hurt. It is the inner part and there is a decent amount of swelling. But it does not hurt when I throw. There is minimal pain when I swing a bat or a golf club and a lot of pain if I have to pick something heavy up or simply touch the little bone that sticks out on the inside of my elbow. I do not know what it is.

I have been experiencing burning on the inner and outer part of my elbow. The burning on the inner part of my elbow is the most painful. It is sensitive when I touch it and feels stiff a lot. I straighten it to get some relief but nothing seems to relieve it. It has started since I purchased a new laptop. I am no longer using a keyboard that was at a lower level and I'm wondering if that is what it is stemming from. It bothers me all the time, not sure what to do about it.

I am experiencing painful sudden elbow pain. When I say sudden I mean from one day to the next. I first noticed it the following day after preparing fondant for a cake (kneading and rolling), but it wasn"t for a very long time; a couple of minutes at the most. The following day was worse. It got so bad that night that I ended up going to the emergency room. They guessed tennis elbow. The pain was so intense they gave me morphine and tramadol for the pain. To be honest it made me sleepy, but the pain was still there. It had gone down from a 10 maybe to a 7 or 8. I was sent home with strong medications. It has been a week and I've tried muscle relaxers and I'm still in pain especially at night. For whatever reason I cannot lie down without feeling pressure from the pain, kind of like an earache. When you are standing it is fine, but when you want to sleep it throbs. I am so frustrated from the pain and loss of sleep. My doctor is suspecting arthritis or bursitis. Whichever it is I just want it gone; the pain is in my elbow and upper forearm. Now my pointy finger is starting to feel numb. I am scheduled for an x-ray. Hope I get some answers soon.

I have had sharp pain in my left elbow for as many as 20 weeks. Thought it was a bang (impact) injury or something like that. Then I thought use injury i.e., pulling heavy lever type stuff. It is persistent and unchanging, as much an annoyance as a concern. I am right handed by the way. Once in a while I will knock it (impact) on something and the pain is a 7 for about 30 min. I always have a sensation of something there regardless of use. Otherwise I am fairly healthy. Weight. 178. Height 5, 11" I'm active and ambitious. I would like to get back to playing hockey after a 10 years. I started when I was 32 and played for 8 years. I've got sick of being sore all the time.
