Cymbalta is prescribed for the treatment of depression, generalized anxiety disorder, and neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The most common side effects of Cymbalta are nausea, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, insomnia, and dizziness.
