DRUG INTERACTIONS: Before you take this drug, tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drugs you are taking, especially: phenobarbital, phenytoin, procainamide, propranolol, quinidine, warfarin, rifampin, macrolide antibiotics (e.g., clarithromycin, erythromycin), quinolone antibiotics (e.g., gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin), cisapride, mizolastine. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose include unconsciousness, low blood pressure, seizures, and change in heart rhythm.

NOTES: Your doctor may want you to take your pulse each day while you take this medication. Learn how to monitor your pulse. To evaluate the effectiveness of this medication, your doctor may periodically take a blood sample to measure the amount of the drug in your body. Do not allow anyone else to take this medication.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered unless the next scheduled dose is within 4 hours. If so, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
