DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: xanthine derivatives (e.g., aminophylline, theophylline), adenosine. Avoid drinking beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, colas) or eating large amounts of chocolate 24 hours before this heart imaging procedure. Caffeine can interfere with the effects of this medication. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information about dietary restrictions before this procedure. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.

NOTES: Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., heart monitor, vital signs ) will be performed to monitor your progress.

MISSED DOSE: If the dose is interrupted, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately to establish new dosing.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature (77 degrees F or 25 degree C) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Do not freeze. Consult your pharmacist for details regarding the stability of the drug after dilution in correct IV fluids. Discard any unused fluid.
