Dasatinib (Sprycel) is a kinase inhibitor drug prescribed for the treatment of newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML); treatment of chronic, accelerated, or myeloid or lymphoid blast phase Ph+ CML with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy including imatinib; and treatment of Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy.
