CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE WITH CLIDINIUM-ORAL (cont.)
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: digoxin, ketoconazole, levodopa, antacids, cimetidine, disulfiram, seizure medication, sleeping pills, narcotic pain medication, medication for depression, barbiturates, tranquilizers, sedatives, antihistamines, medication for allergies or colds. Do not smoke. Smoking can decrease this medication's effectiveness. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include confusion, slow reflexes, clumsiness, deep sleep, and loss of consciousness.
NOTES: If this medication makes you constipated, increase your fiber intake by eating more fresh fruit and vegetables, salad, and whole grain breads. Exercise and drink plenty of water (unless your doctor informs you otherwise). Do not share this medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
