DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all the prescription and nonprescription medication you use, especially of: gout drugs (e.g., probenecid), carbamazepine. This drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. Diabetics should be aware this medication may cause false positive urine glucose tests. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about alternative ways to monitor your sugar levels. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include muscle spasms and seizures.

NOTES: This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. A different medication may be necessary.

MISSED DOSE: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature or refrigerate. Both methods good for 14 days. Do not store in the bathroom.
