Levaquin as prescribed by your doctor is the best antibiotic for the treatment of bronchitis as well as pneumonia. Typically, the cycle of infection will be broken within two or three days. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I suffer from sinusitis once a year. I put a washcloth in a bowl with water, and microwave it for one minute. I let it cool slightly, and apply to my chest. Vaporub works well too. I also use an expectorant to bring up phlegm, and take hot baths with Eucalyptus and lemon balm. I think hot soup helps too. I find this now helps me with bronchitis.
