USES: Borage seed oil has been used for treating the joint pain and swelling (inflammation) of arthritis, as well as certain skin conditions (e.g., atopic dermatitis), and inflammation of the lungs/breathing passages. It has also been used for symptoms of menopausal disorders. Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. HOW TO USE: Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before using this product: liver conditions. Borage oil may contain chemicals called pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
