Patient Comments: Abscessed Tooth - SymptomsWhat symptoms did you experience with your abscessed tooth?

What can I do if my fiancé is unwilling to get his abscesses dealt with when he has all of the symptoms? His teeth are really, really bad and he goes through this at least once to twice a month. He will look like a chipmunk and he will be in so much pain. I just don't know what to do because he is having bowel movements nonstop some days. The doctors say that it's the only way that the poison in the abscess can escape. Was this comment helpful?Yes

My abscess got so bad to where there was a painful boil in my mouth, it looked like I had a golf ball in my mouth. I had to see a emergency dentist to pop my boil and extract my tooth. The dentist told me that the infection can go to your heart and kill you. Now I'm a faithful visitor of the dentist!
