My first two (2) caudal epidural injections worked perfect last year. I just had the 2nd in the series of caudal epidural injections; the first one did not work (two weeks ago). At that time I was taking doxycycline after being diagnose with Epididymitis at the E.R. (strange, since I haven't had sex in about three years). The following day I had my first shot of caudal epidural injection in the series. Excruciating pain ever since. Have been bedridden in extreme pain for two (2) weeks. Went back to the E.R. a week ago. Was told that there is no infection in the body. To be on the safe side, I have been taking Cipro 250mg twice a day. This morning had the 2nd round of caudal epidural injection. At first felt better, now pain is back. It starts in the lower right abdomen into my right groin down my right thigh. So painful, I don't know what to do next. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I all of a sudden started to experience serious abdominal pain over the top of my right rib cage, about waist high. I had taken codeine about an hour before that. The pain was so severe, I had to call an ambulance and go to the hospital. I was begging for pain medication. The doctor could not find anything wrong with me. Someone cannot be in that kind of pain and have no reason why. I personally think my pain was due to some kind of blockage. My gallbladder is removed and I read on-line that this can sometimes happen after gall bladder removal. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I have pain in my lower back that moves to my lower abdomen on my right side and down my legs. I have a hard time moving around and nothing relieves the pain. I have acute angina and don't really want to be put on any more pills. I can't take the pain and it makes me feel helpless. I tried to find out what might be wrong by reading articles. I don't have medical insurance and can't really afford to go to the doctor. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I have dealt with IBS since childhood, but now I fear something worse. Maybe it's my gall bladder because my pain is on my upper right side below my ribs. I keep getting a gnawing pain and it does move some to left at times. Antacids and Simethicone help make the pain tolerable, but I can still feel it. Both eating a meal and not eating make it worse. I've never been much of a gas producer, but lately have had bad gas. I thought at first it may be GERD, which if it's something, I hope it's that since I don't want to remove my gall bladder. I have this severe stomach ache and I keep coughing. I have a lot of secretion from my stomach, bubbly white and phlegm like. I was diagnosed with GERD a while ago but this is much worse. Everything I eat seems to affect me and I vomit frequently. I am at my wits end, my doctor is not much help. The last few days have been almost unbearable, between the stomach problems and the cough. I have been diagnosed with IBS caused by fructose intolerance. The doctors said I would be fine once I cut the fructose out of my diet. I did, yet I still have stomach pains. On a scale of one to 10, it's usually above a five, usually two to seven days a week. Was this comment helpful?Yes

I have Liver Cancer due to Hemachromotosis and lately I have had severe abdominal and back pain. I have been taking Nexavar for the cancer and Hydrocodone for the pain. The cancer is so small it can hardly be detected and there is something by the head of the Pancreas but don't know what and surgery is out of the question.
