abciximab-injection (cont.)

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include weakness, fatigue, dizziness, coffee ground vomit, easy bruising, bleeding under the skin, dark stool, and bleeding from intravenous line.

NOTES: Laboratory tests will be done frequently while using this medication to monitor its effects and to prevent side effects.

MISSED DOSE: The doctor should be informed immediately if a dose is missed.

STORAGE: Refrigerate at 36 to 46 degrees F (2 to 8 degrees C). Do not freeze. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.
